This is another one of my all-time favorites. My children and I thoroughly enjoyed the stories of the women that contributed so much and sacrificed so much for the dream of freedom and founding of our nation. And then at the end of each story is information on memorials and historic sites you can visit that are associated with the people and events of the story. Make sure you put in the author when searching for the book. There is a newer version of the book with the same title and by a different author but it isn’t anywhere near as good as the original. Make sure you get the one by Patricia Edwards Clyne. I just love this book!
